- Cash-free entry gates: As of January 2026, physical roadside check-point vending machines at Jūrmala's entry boundaries (Priedaine and Vaivari) no longer accept cash coins or banknotes. - Commercial weight limits: The electronic vignette system (e-vinjete) is strictly weight-dependent. It triggers for freight-transporting or commercial logistics vehicles starting at 3,001 kg gross weight. If you tow a standard holiday caravan or small trailer with a light passenger car, you do not need an e-vignette.
